Smart Food

it is evil.....every week I pass it by and think "no, not this week."  But every week it ends up in my cart.  Why?!?! It sits in the pantry for days but keeps calling my name....by day 3 i give in.  Slowly I open the bag and go in for that first wonderful handful.  It's all down hill from there.  I continue to eat for what seems like an hour.  I stopped tasting it after the second handful.  My hands are crusted over but I can't stop.  Finally I tell my self - self - just two more bites.  It's over, I've done it again.  All that remain are those teeny tiny kernelts at the bottom of the bag.....

3/4 Sleeves - What?!

Seriously....what is up with them? I have shirts/sweaters in the double digits with them and I am not sure why.  Some days I am forever trying to pull them down to cover my wrists - other days -  pushin' 'em up as high as they can go.  I am never happy when wearing these sleeves but continue to add them to my closet....Note to self; I do not like 3/4 sleeves.  Stop buying them!

Magazine Subscriptions

I subscribe to a number of magazines. As much as I love my Kindle for reading books, I still feel the need to touch the glossy pages of a magazine even when most of the content is advertising. Why is it that a year before my subscription expires I receive a notice screaming out at me RENEW NOW or LAST CHANCE.....I don't get it - but I do....the publishers are trying to hook me for another two years. Entice me with that free gift (a bag, a special issue, a gift subscription!) I may cave....but I don't.....I log onto QuickBooks, search my subscription transactions and there right in front of me is the entry - made two months ago renewing for an additional year....sorry Redbook or Cosmo or Glamour.....not this time....

First Post

Well, here it is. My first post. I have been blog stalking for a few years now and am finally getting around to starting my own. I wonder if people are interested in what i have to say? Am I interested in what I have to say? We'll just have to wait and see......
